Today's picture is inspired by BoC's Day25 post.
We got new wedding bands earlier this year. This is mine. People keep commenting that it looks a little like the Lord of the Rings ring. It says 'Always and Forever' (his band is plain with the inscription on the inside). I used the top of my laptop for the background.
BoC, your shot is so much better. Thanks for the inspiration, though.

pretty ring! I'd try it without the flash with some nice soft continuous lighting. Great idea using the top of your laptop.

That laptop works very well to give a single reflection. Very nice ring and I thought for an instant that BoC had done a redux and tried to make his glow. I agree that ditching the flash and using natural lighting would really give this a zing.
It does look like a LotR ring, it took me a second to realize it was English :)
I like the reflection in the laptop, it looks really cool. But I too could have gone with a little less flash.
