The tree in our front yard is old. One side of it is alive . The other side is completely dead. I want to eventually have ivy growing all over it.

Wow, what a very cool tree with a very bizarre shape! And growing ivy on it is a great idea, provided the live side will forever hold the dead side up...

Spooky old thing, I love it!
Sweet! I can sorta see a skull there in the upper left part, just above that curving piece; the mouth looks like a wicked, maniacal grin.
Is this a Mulberry tree? If so just cut off the large dead limbs, they will come back. Trust me, I'm a professional. :)
The skull was the first thing I noticed too! It makes the tree even spookier :)
Wow, one can imagine seeing so many things in those shapes.
